Woooo yeah, so, the reason why I didn't update for such a long time... well, besides a week ago, is because of frosh, which is kinda like... initiation into University, but like, a whole week at least of random events and partying. So yeah, it was fun. ^__^ And nowww I'm gonna give you a nice little schedule of what we did this past week and a half;

Wed. August 24th - First day, so we pretty much all introduced ourselves... Then went on a lovely tour of the village near the campus and after that had apparently 'famous' wings at Annie's, a local bar... Don't know why they'd call them famous, unless they were famous for being cold >>;;; Anyhoo, they came with fries so I was happy. Plus free beer. Free everything ^__^

Thurs. August 25th - This was probably one of the funner nights, 'cause we were taught how to squaredance, which is highly amusing after having drunk a few beers... Yet again we got free beer. Woot!

Fri. August 26th - Another awesome day, 'cause it was the Scavenger Hunt. One of the items we had to find was "the ugliest thing you can find" so I came up with the plan to go to Cape Cod's Fish & Chips restaurant and our team got a salmon head from them >:D ... I had to carry it around for about 3 hours in the blazing heat though, which was icky >>;;; We named it Charlie. Because we're special. After that everyone went to the Arboretum (kinda like a woods/forest area with paths & an ecomuseum) and there was a demonstration put on by the woodsmen team of Mac. We got to try our hand at sawing and axe throwing afterwards, which was awesome. I got the bullseye 2/3 times when I attempted the axe throwing. Yay for natural talent (okay, okay, and beginner's luck)! After that we just sorta chilled and I met some dudes from France who were very spiffy... Rather interesting convos insued.

Sat. August 27th - I missed out on that day 'cause I was working and I also went out with my friends to Rockaberry's omgyummm and then we went to go see 40 year old virgin... Even though I had already seen it. It's still good XD

Sun. August 28th - I missed out on the "day events" 'cause of work again, but managed to get there in time to participate in some team games (like 5-legged racing, relay-race, beer chugging boat race, twister, etc etc). Ummm... Don't think anything else happened that day. o__0;;;

Mon. August 29th - The lot of us went to Cunningham's (in Ste-Anne's) for dinner, and omg it was good. I had fish 'n chips... Squee. Then we went to my new-found friend's dorm room and we played drinking games. I wasn't able to sleep for the rest of the night because the drinks we bought were guarana-induced cider. Teh poo but also teh fun XD

Tues. August 30th - I ATE LUNCH WITH TEH FRENCH GUY! ... omg yeah. Okay I told myself I wouldn't like anyone in that way so easily, but pfft that never works... So now I like a guy and nothing is gonna happen because I have the worst luck EVER >>; I mean, even if he did find me mildly interesting there are just so many better girls around, plus he's from France... ANYhoo that's not what I wanted to be talking about... right now. SO yeah, the -night- involved really cool team tag game in which (to no surprise) I busted my ankle. Of course I didn't take care of it so it's still the size of a small tennis ball now -__- I also played this rp-ish circle kinda cops & robbers game called Loup-Garous with the Francos from both France & Quebec. Then I crashed at my friend's dorm room... I stole her bed 'cause of my injury >D

Wed. August 31st - Ramen Noodle supper... Yay! And got to watch the Frosh Video, see how crazy we all were... and they announced the winners of the various games. Needless to say our Scavenger Hunt team won ^__^ it was well worth lugging around a fish all day... As a prize I got meself a Moosehead beer shirt. Teh spiff!

Thurs. September 1st - Official first day of classes, and I missed the only one I had that day because I thought it started later @__@ go me. There was a Welcome Back BBQ after and that was really cool... lots of crazy drunkenness there. I spilt my drink twice >>;; Ooops. Not on myself, though; yeah, I'm -that- skilled! The bad thing is a spilt in front of the guy I liked... But I think he was too drunk to notice anyway, haha. Ummm ummm umm, oh and I was air-guitaring... scary how I act under the influence. Then my parents came to pick me up -right- before "FRENCH DUDE" came to talk to my closer friends who I was hanging out with... Wahhhh! TT__TT

So... that was frosh in a nutshell. Oh, and yesterday I went out with my non-mcgill friends again because one of them is leaving today. So now I'm really exhausted. Partying does that to you, I found out x__< I also found out I need to stop eating so much. 'cause I'm a p-i-g pig. Bleh.

Well, I'm at work now... But I'm taking a break because I'm so frikkin'tiiiired x___X Orientation for McGill started Wednesday, and I've been partying every night since then... And getting up really early to be able to attend everything >>; I'm gonna save the account of what I did for when it's over, 'cause it's fun that way >:D but I will say that oh my god Frosh is awesome! And I met so many people from like, EVERYWHERE. Even from Shri Lanka (smack me if I wrote that wrong @__@;;;). And liek wtf I hafta work today and tomorrow so I can't do most of the weekend shtuff like laser tag and going to the "Tam-Tam Festival" downtown... and going to a beach! TT__TT no fair. But at least I'll be going to everything else... Lala.
Oh, and I found my beer! Sorta... I think. XD;; Well, at least I don't -mind- Molson Ex compared to the other gross stuff they had... But like, you never really know unless you try like, all the types of beer one after another... Meh. I don't like beer all that much anyway - gimme shots and rum! Yay.
