It's talk like a pirate day, omg.

And, well~p, I should be getting my monitor back tomorrow, so that's good news :D However I also have to get up at some godforsaken hour to go downtown for a stupid experiment thing I -need- to participate in to pass my psych course *sighhhhhhh* ... and I was invited to a cocktail party after class... which'll be a problem, since a) I'll be tired beyond belief b) It starts way before I even finish classes and c) I don't bloody own anything even remotely cocktail-party-worthy. Blergh. Plus I don't know more than half the people and and am retardedly 'shy' in those situations -.-; I'll probably force myself to go, and will likely enjoy it... since that's what usually happens ... that or I feel totally awkward. *hopes for the former*

School's been prettyyy good so far. I just really ... dislike ... Fundamentals of Nutrition. The prof has no idea about his -own- subject, jebus. Every five minutes he's like '... I think.' and... blergh. Not going into it. kthnx. I reaaaaally wish I had passed that damn course -last- year ;-;

I'm also considering playing with my hair color again. I told my mom I was thinking of getting purple streaks, and she said something to the effect of 'homfg ew', so I asked if she'd rather I get -pink-, and she actually said yes...? XD Wow. ... I'd really want blue this time though... but it turns icky green ;-;

Annnd... wow. This has been left unposted for over six hours now. Seriously. Woops. x.x;

Like, omg, school starts tomorrow. WTF. I don't think the realization has hit me yet... and probably won't until halfway through the semester -.-; First class is Physical and Biological Aspects of Pollution. Yayyy! ... I hope it's not one of those in-depth overloaded courses with bunches of projects/whatnot to do >.> Errrm... then I have Fundamentals of Nutrition, because it's required... blegh. Haha and that's alllll I have. On WEDNESDAY I've got Animal Learning & Theory, which is a psych course and sounds SO awesome, followed by Evolution & Systematics, which is taught by the most hilarious teacher EVER. ... and yeah, those're the only two classes on that day as well.
Annnd Monday=Wednesday=Friday, Tuesday=Thursday. So. Basically I have two classes per day. And NO ridiculously long labs (though I gotta admit some of them are a lot of fun). Woooot. :D

In other news, Saturday was Mike-uu's surprise birthday party. Annnd... I have just a few words to say regarding that. LIMO. BOOZE. INDIAN FOOD. ... yup. ^____^ Oh. and REDUCED MILK BALLS. fufufufufu. XD

Errrm. And my computer screen is an asshole. Yeah.

I finally got to go see Harry Potter (erm, actually it was before last entry I believe), which was awesome. In my opinion though they skipped too much from the book (and there shoulda be a lot more Tonks >.> she says like, what, ONE sentence? x.x), but whatever. It was still good. ... I also started re-reading the series again. Or, I should say, I read Philophoser's Stone. And now I'm re-reading The Golden Compass. Can't wait for that movie to come out :3

Errrm and I have officially become a hermit -.-;; All I do all day is sleep, play video games, and surf the internet... and walk my dog. My social life is inexistent, and I don't even have a job. It's pretty sad... >.> Thankfully I'll be starting school again after Labour Day so there will be -some- substance to my life. Oi. @.@

Ohhh and Rune Factory came in yesterday, conveniently the day we had a power failure. ... It's an awesomely addicting game, just like the rest of the Harvest Moon games ^___^ And there's a woman named Sabrina in it XD Too bad she can't become a love interest >>;

Annnd starting tonight, I'm learning how to crochet! Yeeeayyyy~! I wish I had started at the beginning of summer, 'cause ... yeah. I woulda had something to pass the time. Blergh.

Heehee. I just bought Rune Factory (which just came out Aug. 14th) for $24 US ($26 Can) on Ebay, whereas at BestBuy it's $39.99 Can. >X3 Can't wait for it to get here, it looks like so much fun! :D For those of you who -don't- know what the hell it is, it's part of the Harvest Moon Series, and it's fantasy-based. :3 Annnd it's on the DS. Yesh, my 2nd DS game XDDD

I was also tempted to buy Digimon World DS, and Pokemon Ranger, and Chocobo Tales, and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time (among others) ... but managed to practice SOME willpower. Eheh. Once I get a job I'll be less stingy ^^;;;

Also. I spent the -entire- day yesterday organizing my music, which up until now was spread out all over my computer and a lot of the filenames where all retarded and I had doubles of some songs and... stuff. But it's all better now :3 I feel accomplished. Wootwoot.

Actually, I did take a break to make cupcakes - well, actually they were more like chocolate cakes in icecream cones (they're SO cool omg). I'd take a picture to make you all jealous but I'm too lazy X3

Right so. Yesterday the family had a 'girl's night out' thing and we went to go see Stardust (which was quite an enjoyable movie - omg Tristan's smile = d'awwwwww <3). And yeah, we usually never get food there 'cause it's so damned expensive, but this time we decided to go all out and buy the biggest size popcorn there, the one which comes with a free refill policy X3

I learned a very important lesson last night. Just because you -can- get a refill doesn't mean you -have- to, and it probably isn't a good idea if the size of the bag is already triple the size of what your stomach can take (though I shared with my mommy) x.<

Blargh. So when I got home I promptly flopped down on my bed in an exaggerated display of my feeling of near-explosion, and my monster cat decided he make good use of my whale-like position and made a bed out of me @.@ So I couldn't move. And wound up falling asleep. This was at around 10:00.

I woke up at 12:30 -today- ... wtf. Had an apple for lunch then felt stuffed again >.>

NEVER GONNA EAT SO MUCH POPCORN AT ONCE LIKE THAT AGAIN.

Moving right along, I got 81% in my summer course. I suppose I should be happy, but I was kinda hoping for 85+. 'cause that would get me an A. Buuut, no, ended up with an A-. ... I guess that's okay.

What I hate even more? Being called an hour and a half before the required babysitting time. ... and just as an added bonus, after having just prepared the most awesome dessert ever, though that's the least of the issue T.T I am not even going to -attempt- to put into the words the hell I was put through during the actual babysitting, oi. Suffice to say the kid is not human, oh no. There is no doubt in my mind that he is the spawn of the devil. Seriously. I was literally ready to shoot myself. BLARGH.

Why am I even babysitting anymore? -.-;;;

Most of them are of the KH/Final Fantasy photoshoot, as well as Mike-uu and I ^^

So on Saturday we met our friend at her house to get a ride downtown (yay no public transport!), but not before going to Tim Horton's for Strawberry Shortcake Iced Caps... I asked for a shitload of whipped cream, and they actually did put a -significant- amount more than usual, which made me happy :3 Anyhoo, when we got there we had to wait in line for around an hour since we didn't pre-register, but it wasn't that bad ^^ First thing we did after that was head over to the Dealer's Area, in which Mike-uu splurged and I got meself a Heartless plushie (the eyes glow in the dark OMFG), Oblivion necklace and 4 mini pokemon figurines (eeveelutions, minus Flareon, Leafeon and Glaceon). After that we visited Mike-uu's friend, who was the volunteer coordinator (I feel bad for her @.@) and went onwards to Artist's Alley! There wasn't really much there, but we ended up getting a couple of things anyway (Marluxia bookmark & Organization XIII button for me! :D). Ohhh right but before that we met THE Scott Ramsoomair, author of vgcats!! And I got his autograph in my ZEXY BOOK OF DOOM ^____^ I think I'll scan it later... *grin* Right, so. We then went to have bubbletea/lunch (errhh yeah bubbletea & cheesecake = lunch ^^; ), which was followed by a long break of happy pokemon playing. I kicked Mike-uu's ass. Bwahahaha. >3 Urrrrm then we went back to the Dealer's Area, got more stuff, and... had to leave, because Mike-uu had to get home to feed his dogs D: plus his parents would kill him if he didn't -.-;;; So yeah, we had to skip out on the Yaoi Free-for-all, masquerade, and the rave T____T Poo.

'kay, now Sunday. This time we -did- take public transport, and I'm sure we freaked out a decent amount of people >3 We went to Dealer's Area again 'cause I had reserved a copy of the KH2 manga, and browsed around yet again. Then visited Mike-uu's friend again XD Ate lunch at a Hawaiian Creperie, which was AWESOME. After that we were waiting around for the KH panel to start, so we returned to Artist's Alley, then played pokemon some more... annnd finally 'L'Univers de KH' started :D It was pretty fun, and there was some pretty interesting topics brought up... Not long after there was the Square-Enix photoshoot, and yeah. There were about 4 Orgy members, two of which were Zexion (me and another guy), and only 3 were really part of the photoshoot (two Zex's and LarLar) Wootwoot o.o ... Yeah, and uh. The general concensus was that my Z-E-X-Y shorts pwned. Meheheh.

Annnd that was pretty much it, since I had to go to my cousin's birthday get-together thing. Plus nothing much else was really happening... So yeah. I enjoyed myself. Small/short, but funfunfun ^__^

ONE THING THOUGH. I am -NEVER- attempting to gel my hair like that again. >.> Getting it out was a bitch (and it hurt 'cause there was so much crust and I was lucky I didn't rip all my hair out in the process), plus my wig is -so- much nicer looking. ... Well, I tried, and now I know. @.@;;;

Alsooo, I'm seriously contemplating getting a table at Artist's Alley next time, 'cause... Well, not to be egotistical or anything, but I think I'd be able to sell my stuff pretty easily... Mike-uu said so! *hides*

So that's about it. Yuh-huh! Oh, and there's a convention in Ottawa this November which we're gonna try go to... AC-Cubed *glee*

I beat pokemon this morning at 4:00 am :D It was surprisingly easy, considering I only used my Luxray (lvl 66), Staraptor (lvl 61) and Palkia (lvl 62) psssht. And now I finally have my Eevee! *dances*

Annnd my brother finally finished Harry Potter. So it's my turn now ^___^

O.M.G. Summer school is -finally- done with! I had my final this afternoon, in the BLISTERING heat, in a room with no AC, no ventilation, no fans, no NOTHING, but it's done. DONE. And I'm pretty sure I got at least an A- (and there's no such thing as an A+ at my school). YAY!!! ... Oh yeah, and that horrible midterm I thought I failed, I actually got 80% o.0 go figure.

Anyways, that being said... I'm playing pokemon non-stop now, so I can get the National Dex by the weekend, which is OTAKUTHON. Heehee~ I'm so hyped ^^ Definitely gonna be doing a report on that at the end of the weekend... *glee*

... and my brother is still reading Harry Potter, so I can't yet ;__; Buttwad that he is... playing WoW... GRR. D:<

omfg. Less than a week until summer school is finally DONE WITH. Rawr. ... and I still haven't got the mark from that disaster of a midterm -.- Oh well, maybe they lost it and I won't hafta worry about it bringing my mark from 92% to like... 30% or something x.x

Heehee in other news I found some wicked blue hair gel for when I cosplay Zex next weekend at Otakuthon... It glows under black light! I hope they -have- black lights at the rave >__> It'd be stupid if they didn't, anyway. Andandand I'm almost done the Zexy shorts to go with my Zexy t-shirt X3 Yay!

Oh yeah, and I ~~avoided schoolwork~~ finally found the time to get to the Pokemon League in Pearl... But before I do that I wanna catch Azelf (who is pissing me off at the moment -.-) ... anyway whatever you dun really care about that do you? XD;

I. got. 92.5%. on my midterm. HOLYBEEJEBUS. I did not know that I was that smart XD;;; ... I should add that no one got 100%, and it was the 3rd highest grade in a class of at least 100 students ^______^ and that the average was 74%. BWAHAHAHA. ... I bet one of my mistakes was that dumb philosophical question, too (see previous entry).

omfg and guess what? I have yet another midterm next monday! >.o Hopefully I'll do just as well... It'll do wonders for my GPA, heheh.

And right now I'm in one of those moods where I just don't feel like doing anything. Bleurgh. ... I'm still uber-happy though XD

I love how most of my subjects involve the word 'omg' or some derivative of it... Anyway, moving right along...

I had my first midterm in Perception today! Wootwoot! It was pretty easy (I think?) but the last question was really retarded... 'Why is the study of perception considered symbolic?' ... WTF. Apparently on top of a psych course, this was also a philosophy course... DID YOU KNOW THAT WE -DON'T- ACTUALLY -PERCEIVE- THINGS?! Yeah... that's what it says in the book... or something like that... It's our IMAGINATION. Okay maybe I sort of exaggerated what the author wrote, buuut yeah. >>;

Minus the philosophical crap, it's really awesome though. Finally a course I'm actually motivated to do well in :3 The best part is that a lot of it involves optical illusions XD SO AWESOME.

Ummm... Oh yeah. and I got violated last monday by an old man on the bus -.- *washes self for a bajillion and one years* EW.

... I haven't been able to play Pokemon since I started school though ;__; ... At least it's only three weeks long! :D AND THEN OTAKUTHON ON AUGUST 4-5th! Yay for baby cons!! I need to do my Zexy shorts at somepoint before then >.o

Right, so... the reason why I have been AWOL from the computer and pretty much everything else for the past few days is simply this:

I -finally- got it in the mail on wednesday and I haven't stopped playing since, save for food-breaks XD ... and to sleep. Annnnd yesterday when I took a break to go on the computer for a while. ANYway. Yeah. In two days, I had played nearly 20 hrs already. And now I'm at 26 or something... Bwahahaha. >3

I'm at Pastoria now... Yeeeay for big beefy macho gym leaders ^__^

And. I gave all my pokemon nicknames. 'cause it's fun. GUESS WHAT I NAMED MY CHIMCHAR (who is now an infernape)?!?! ... ... *grin* Aku! Yayyyy. And I have a shinx named Roku. :D Zey make me happeh. And -obviously- my character is Zeku. Even though it's a girl. ^^;

I had intended on posting about this much earlier... but I forgot. x.x; Anyway. LOOK. It's the Reno action figure! Yay!! I decided to compare him to Axel... 'cause I'm a dork like that... LOOK AT THE SIMILARITIES!! *gasp* Well, sort of... Their eyes look pretty much identical, I would say. And Reno should be smiling -.- He looks uncharacteristically... serious. @.@;

They're twins, twiiins I say! Or at least Axel is the Reno from another dimension... or something. And then of course there's the 'Reno is Axel's somebody' dealie.

BIG NEWS EVERYONE. I. am now. a -renewed- Pokemon fan. *glee* I don't understand why my interest died for it in the first place. I -do- seem to remember wanting Gold or Silver at some point... but yeah. Now, YEARS later, for some random reason I -really- had an urge to play my Red version, and so... I'm hooked. Again :3

... I bought a DS lite w/ both Diamond and Pearl off of ebay ... -.-;

Mike-uu is buying Diamond from me though (I like both equally and he would rather have Diamond so... it works ^^) ... I also plan on getting the other Pokemon games for DS once I ... um... get a job x.x

Something -else- that amused me greatly, however, is the fact that when I told my brother I was getting the ds with pokemon 'because I'm a dork', he looked up at me and asked oh so uncharacteristically dorkily back: 'can you have more than one saved game on there?' ... That made me smile X3 ..... Then again he -did- buy that Dragonball Z fighting game for the Wii. Ah well~ ^.^
